Friday, April 3rd, 2009I found a great one, OpenOffice.org 3 it is an open-source office software suite for graphics, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and much more. It is available in different languages and will perform on all common computers. It uses an international open standard format to stores all your data and can also write and read files from most common office software packages. OpenOffice can be used free of charge with no limitations. Check it out, over 50 million people have downloaded this software.

Launchy – Freeware Keystroke for Windows
Tuesday, October 9th, 2007Launchy is another useful software for Windows. Launchy is a free windows utility designed to help you forget about your start menu, the icons on your desktop, and even your file manager.
Once Launchy has been started, it hides in the background. You bring it forward by holding the alt key and tapping the space key. You then type in a few keys of the program you are searching for and hit enter once it has been found. You can also make Launchy dissappear again by hitting escape or alt+space.
Launcy has some tips and tricks too, acording to its website:
Search Google
Type in google, then tab, then your search query and press enter
Check the Weather
Type in Weather, then tab, then your zip code or city,state and press enter
Search other sites
Other sites you can search include wikipedia, msn, yahoo, amazon, netflix, imdb, and more.
Browse your computer
Type in c:, then tab, then a folder or file, hit tab, and continue
